Here's what we usually get asked
Yes - if you have a valid Chronic Disease Management Plan (EPC/CDM) from your GP, your classes can be bulk-billed with no out-of-pocket cost.
Medicare provides 5 allied health sessions per calendar year. These can be used for your exercise classes.
Typically Yes, however the form you fill out should suffice to confirm your goals, conditions, and safety prior to classes. During the class, your physiotherapist/ exercise physiologist will monitor your movement and safety closely. (How you perform an exercise is typically enough to provide enough information on your impairments and weaknesses)
Any chronic condition lasting 6 months or more, such as osteoporosis, arthritis, diabetes, scoliosis, chronic pain, or mobility/balance issues. Your GP decides eligibility.
After your 5 sessions, many clients choose to continue with our classes privately due to the positive results they've experienced. We can accomodate those with My Aged Care Fundings Like Home Care Packages or NDIS, and we also accept Private Health Insurance. If you decide not to continue, our physiotherapists or exercise physiologist will ensure you're confident in performing the exercises safely at home.
Yes. HCP funding can cover:
- physio assessment
- exercise classes
- progress reviews
- falls prevention programs
This is part of maintaining strength, mobility, and independence.
Yes - but we can assist with the service request.
Most care managers approve quickly because this program reduces falls risk and improves daily function.
All levels HCP 1–4 can fund physio-led exercise classes, depending on available budget and goals
